AAWSAP DIRD: Concepts for Extracting Energy from the Quantum Vacuum, April 6, 2010 — Department of War Research Paper
Las Vegas, Nevada
This DIRD examines whether useful energy might be extracted from the quantum vacuum, the ground state with the lowest possible energy of quantum fields. This treatment considers applications for space power or “propellantless” propulsion by reviewing a range of concepts involving zero-point…
AAWSAP DIRD: High-Frequency Gravitational Wave Communications, April 6, 2010 — Department of War Research Paper
Las Vegas, Nevada
This DIRD examines whether high-frequency gravitational waves could serve as a communications medium while avoiding the attenuation that limits radio-frequency systems. The report surveys proposed transmitter and detector concepts, argues that gravitational-wave communications could support…
AAWSAP DIRD: Metamaterials for Aerospace Applications, April 6, 2010 — Department of War Research Paper
Las Vegas, Nevada
This DIRD surveys metamaterials, engineered structures designed to control electromagnetic waves in ways ordinary materials cannot, and argues that their main aerospace value lies in unusual optical and microwave properties together with significant component miniaturization. The report reviews…
AAWSAP DIRD: Traversable Wormholes, Stargates, and Negative Energy, April 6, 2010 — Department of War Research Paper
Las Vegas, Nevada
This DIRD examines traversable wormholes and “stargates” as hypothetical spacetime structures within general relativity that theoretically offer a means of faster-than-light travel or communication. The report focuses extensively on the requirement for exotic, negative-energy matter to stabilize…
Westall School UFO Incident
Clayton South, Victoria, Australia
Over 200 students and teachers at Westall High School witnessed a silvery disc-shaped object descend into a nearby field, then take off at incredible speed, leaving physical traces.
Westall UFO Encounter
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
