PURSUE Release 06: The AAWSAP Papers, the Tremonton File and the First Police Reports

The sixth tranche adds 75 records, 44 of them from the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program: the Defense Intelligence Agency’s 2008 Statement of Objectives, the Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies contract and its modifications, and 37 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents on subjects from metamaterials to warp drives, which the government describes as literature reviews. Also included: the Air Force’s Project Blue Book file on the 1952 Tremonton film, Captain Edward Ruppelt’s March 1952 briefing, and the archive’s first local-law-enforcement reports, from Colorado.

Department of War Waives Non-Disclosure Terms for UAP Disclosures to PURSUE

Current and former service members, civilians and contractors with access to UAP-related defence information may now disclose it directly to PURSUE representatives without breaching non-disclosure or Special Access Program agreements. The waiver covers communications with PURSUE only. It follows an Office of the Director of National Intelligence memorandum, made public on August 1, that did the same for the intelligence community.

PURSUE Release 05: State Department and White House Files Enter the Archive

The fifth tranche adds 41 records and the first Department of State and Executive Office of the President files. Centrepiece is the November 1963 Bahia, Brazil "metal sphere" reported by Rio radio and chased through two embassy cables and a National Aeronautics and Space Council file before Brazil’s air ministry denied it outright. Also included: the Navy’s 1953 analysis of the Montana and Utah films, a 1947 review of the Scandinavian ghost rockets, and 17 FBI interview records paired with renderings the Bureau drew from them in 2026.

PURSUE Release 04: The Tranche That Went Back to the Beginning

Forty records dominated by the founding era: the 1948 Project Sign progress report and its catalogue of 100 sightings, the Air Force committee review that led to the end of Project Blue Book, and the 1949 Los Alamos conference where Manhattan Project physicists failed to agree on the green fireballs. At the modern end, three Navy Range Fouler debriefs were released alongside the sensor videos they describe.

PURSUE Release 03: The FBI’s Modern Case Files

Seventy-two records, including the first modern FBI material in the programme — FD-302 interview write-ups covering the AARO "Orbs Launching Orbs" memo, a Colorado Springs and Cheyenne Mountain incident from 2022, and a Northeastern orb series. Eighteen historical CIA documents and the NASA Gemini crew debriefings arrived with it.
